Hello everyone

Yep, it's May

has been for a few days, but yeah

and I've decided to get this journal done now

here we go with the stuff:
Firstly with the job searching stuff and stuff

in my last journal I mentioned a Volunteer Reader position where the reader plays games and reads with children. I gotta admit it was tempting as it sounded fairly simple and stuff, but I decided not to go for it as, after thinking more of it, I don't really want to work with children hehe not really my thing

If you saw me with one kid it'd be different, but I don't think I'd work well with a group of kids O_O lol so I'm looking elsewhere, still mostly in Retail or Admin type things

Sarah did find a couple of things that sound good. The main issue is getting to the places, you know

they're usually off-main-route type places which is a bummer when you either need like 2 or 3 buses to get there or can't get there at all, at least without own transport

so there's gotta be something suitable somewhere. I believe

*shot*
You might also remember I mentioned, through Sarah and her company's social network site, that I joined up with their Big Event that was on the 28th April

The weather didn't behave much, but could have been worse

it was mostly lighter rain that day and the activities were all inside anyway

I had a lot of fun

They had a circus-type area where you could practice unicycles, balancing acts etc

I tried their tight-rope, with not great balance

but I stayed on (namely cos they had a guy there to help people lol). I didn't try with the unicycles O_O I mean, yeah right O_O I could never balance on a two-wheel bike

I was a slow learner even with stabilisers

so I skipped trying a 1-wheel

They had a few other things, like street dancing, a bouncy castle, pampering area etc and they had 'big' versions of two famous boardgames: Twister and Snake and Ladders

I didn't do Twister as I'm not as flexible as I used to be

out-of-shape lol but I played numerous games of the Snakes and Ladders

that game will never get old

I did get on well with a couple of the people there too, so it was a nice day out

The rest of stuff to say is namely the usual video game stuff and there isn't lots to say

I've been addicted to Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations on PS3 so haven't gone back to finishing up the HD Tomb Raider games yet

In the Naruto game I've been getting through the Tournament and Survival modes as well as playing simple VS fights, either to unlock content or just to play play play

My mum, on the other hand, has finished playing the Crash Bandicoot games she was doing

she was going to try the Avatar PS3 game we got, but we had a problem with our PS3 harddrive saying there wasn't enough space for it

our one isn't the smallest, but not biggest either, so we're thinking of getting a bigger harddrive thingy or just buying a new PS3 model

we're thinking about it and researching so we can hopefully do it without losing the data (namely our save data and trophies etc)

So currently my mum is playing some of the Spyro series and has done the first (Spyro the Dragon on PS1) and is currently doing the second (Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer, also PS1)

You may also remember I mentioned the Harry Potter studios tour we're going to

well that's on the 11th May

we're staying in a hotel overnight of the 10th so we can be there early enough, as well as not end up being home too late

I'm excited

I bet it'll be real fun

and coolies

As for the other stuff in May, I think the HD Ratchet and Clank: Trilogy should be coming out...yet Amazon says June 8

while I just looked at the Ratchet Wiki and Wikipedia which both still say May

admittedly Amazon tends to usually be right, so we'll wait and see which it turns out to be

Deffo in May though is Men in Black III which the Odeon website says 25th, which I'm sure the advert said too

so we'll be looking forward to that too

The Naruto: Shippuden watching is still the same as the next volume is 9 and that should be June 4

me and mum still have to watch 8 after mum finishes her re-watching of the episodes, so it's all fair and good so far

Me and my dad are also very slowly moving along through the episodes as we're on Raiga's part of the Pre-Shippuden Arcs as they're called hehe

It's ace he's still enjoying it

and even more ace he's getting used to the characters O_O wow lol some he can't pronounce right

but that can be forgiven when he can't hear the correct way after all awwww
I think that's all to say for this journal, oh we're having a new fence put up on one side as it was old and got a bit leaning during the gale winds

so the neighbours been putting a new one up

Hope that lasts lol it is a do-it-yourself job so we'll see

It'll still be stronger than the oldie one lol
I hope you're all well, friends
